1. Why have you christened the resort The Tall Trees?

The trees in the evergreen and shola forests of Kerala are densely situated, and have to vie with one another for sunlight, reaching up to the highest possible elevation. So the trees are generally very tall reaching over hundred feet. The Tall Trees property lies in the cool shade of such tall trees making the name self explanatory.

2. Is it a ‘Nature Resort’? Why?

There is enough reason to call it a Nature Resort. We have left the terrain, the trees, the water sources and all other ingredients of the delicate eco-system untouched, while doing the minimum necessary construction and infrastructure work. We are doing all we can to preserve the endemic environment and even, where possible, to enhance the flow of nature in every sphere around the place.

3. Is it an ideal place for honeymoon trips?

Of course! The seclusion and security with the adventure and entertainment activities make this place an ideal honeymoon haven. The closeness with nature, the cool climate and the eco-friendly environment will enhance the spirit of pleasantness and solitariness most necessary for the honeymooners.

4. What kind of clothes to wear?

The summer temperature is 15 to 25oC and the winter temperature is 0 to 10oC. We will provide the bedspreads and blankets suited for all climatic requirements. However, it will be safe to bring some warm clothes during all seasons, against unexpected climatic variations. Woollen clothes are recommended when venturing out during the morning and evening hours, even in the summer months.
